Question by soad555dude: I have a Arisaka type 97 sniper rifle?
It has the bent bolt manage, and the component on the left side where the scope gets attached to. Is this any rarer than a regular kind 38? And how a lot do you believe I could get for it if I sold it.
Does anybody know if I can purchase a scope for it someplace, because I don’t have it.

FULL STOP!
this is a MKb-42? (H)
:>?
The MP43 is what the STG-44 was called before its? name was changed by the propaganda ministry.
I like the music [along with the? rifle].
that piece? was marked MP43, belonged to friend of mine
isint it? an stg-44?
@thumpjumper the m1garand is not an assault rifle… and compared to a gewehr 43 wasn’t the best… the Gewehr was lighter and had a larger effective range plus a bigger clip which you could remove mid clip and did not make a loud ping when you finished the? clip
@thumpjumper I agree with you the M1 Carbine is a great firearm, Also doesn’t? the M1 Carbine fire Winchester rifle ammunition?
@thumpjumper Same With The M16? And All The Modern Assault Rifles Today !
The Stg-44 Was the? first weapon to bridge the gap between
the Sub-Macinegun and the Bolt action Rifle succesfully with its 7.92x33mm “Kurtz” Bullet
And is the First True “Assault Rifle”.
Had the Stg-44 been put into production in 1942 when it was originally conceived
and made in sufficient? Numbers, then there is no doubt it would have had a huge impact in all theatres of WW2 and beyond, negating the need for an AK-47.
But it wasnt to be and the AK became the rightful Heir to the Throne.
Dear santa
?
$ 300 if the Chrysanthemum is ground out. $ 400 if intact.
Perfect question for me, since I collect these things. It is pretty rare, they only made around 25000 (if memory serves me correct) of them compared with around 3 million type 38 rifles. Scopes are out there for it, they take a 2.5 power scope, but expect to pay 1 grand and up for it. Mums dont usually matter to me when it comes to these kinds of rifles, but if it is intact, . How much can you get for it though? I would say around 1200 if the finish on the stock is original and it is all matching (the numbers on the bolt and other parts should match the last three digits on the serial number), and no mum, probably a little higher if the mum is completely intact or if its a Kokura arsenal one (Kokura arsenal mark will look like 4 cannon balls stacked up from the top, Nagoya will look like an upside down 8 in a circle). If you are looking to sell it, I would go to http://www.gunboards.com and go to the Japanese rifle section there. The guys there will tell you everything you need to know about these. On a side note, these are the best Axis bolt action rifles of the war, the German guns dont even compare to the quality of these.
