This review is from: Weaver Base Top Mount H and R Pardner Pump (Sports) Received the scope mount and screws. Two of the screws didn’t even make the threads on the receiver. Have done one attempt at drilling into the mount as to allow the screws to thread. That failed after about 10 rounds. Have now drilled as far as I dare into the mount to adequately hold the scope and will try again after the locktite sets up. Very disappointed in the fit. I know its a cheap gun but there is a lot of room for the screws and there is no reason they couldn’t be longer. Longer screws are also hard to find as they are fine thread and very small.
