This review is from: TMS AR15 M4 Flat Top Offset One Piece Scope Mount for 1913 Picatinny Rails (Misc.) Great Mount especially for the $$. I have parts custom made at work & this looks pretty good.Finish was excellent and seems very Robust. The two rail recoil lugs are pressed in tight and won’t move.Mounted it on a LR-308 with no trouble and seems to hold zero well after 20 shots.Have not had a chance to remove and replace to see if it holds Zero.It will require you to push it back on the rail prior to tightening to remove any slop on the recoil lug to rail interface but I think that goes for all mounts I have seen. That being said slop was minimal.Plenty of overhang for eye relief and height is just right to go over my BUIS, but scope sizes vary.Would definitely recommend to a friend. I wanted a PEPR but got this due to a shortage at the time and was pleasantly surprised / impressed.Forget the PEPR this is a great mount for a great price. 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful An astonishingly high quality mount for a terrific price!, April 15, 2011 By Nicholas Horianopoulos “Customers come FIRST.” (Frederick, Colorado) – Amazon Verified Purchase(What’s this?) This review is from: TMS AR15 M4 Flat Top Offset One Piece Scope Mount for 1913 Picatinny Rails (Misc.) [...]It is solid yet light, incredibly well machined and superbly finished in a nice smooth matte black (this matches the finish on my receiver and the scope quite well). The material is 6063 aluminum, which is great stuff – this mount looks like it would be a bicep-builder, but it is not particularly heavy and will not add greatly noticeable weight to your rifle. The mount is precision-made, and mine did not have a Made In China sticker on it (I thought anything made there had to be marked accordingly – was this made somewhere else? Anybody know?). The hardware is heavy-duty and precisely machined. The cap screws are long, made to screw deeply into the chunky unitized bottom of the mount, which bodes well for future durability. The scope placement is exactly dead-on, with centerline being (as close as I can measure it, anyway) about 0.94″ over the top of your rail. This will permit scopes below ~50 mm to fit (your mileage may vary). I have a 2-7 x 32 Vortex Viper mounted to my rifle and the forward throw of the mount puts the unit out far enough to take advantage of the considerable eye relief offered by the scope while clearing the charging handle, an issue often over-looked by owners of ARs looking to put a scope on their rifle.[...] Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? | Comment (1)
