Query by deadpoolcloud: How would you go about attaching a shotgun to an m16?
Would you add a scope mount to your shotgun then have two female ended clamp to attach it to the bottom of the M16′s rails? Is there a way to rig up something involving the bayonet catch/release? Or should you try to rig some thing up involving the magazine.

You are referring to the Knight Armaments “Masterkey”
It mounts like the M203

It really is also illegal to decide to buy/make a shotgun of that size unless it is registered as a SBS with the ATF….

6 of 6 people found the following review helpful LOVE THIS RAIL!, January 23, 2011 By thatb0ybrown – Amazon Verified Purchase(What’s this?) This review is from: Leapers Tactical Picatinny Rail Scope Mount For Remington 870 Shotguns And Simialr Clones (Misc.) Fit like a charm on my REM 870 EXPRESS. Full metal, good quality finish. Hell, the thing has a better finish than my shotgun! (for those of you that own the 870 express, you know the finish sucks. The rail did scratch my finish a bit too, so be careful with your install. nothing terrible, but if you are picky like me, you might want to take your time with it. even oil the area first.) Took my shotgun to the range and put 100 rounds through it today, and no problems with the rail, or the red dot I have mounted on it. I hear a lot of people complain about UTG/Leapers, but I have to say that in my experience so far, I am THOROUGHLY impressed with them. This product is a definite buy. This review is from: Leapers Tactical Picatinny Rail Scope Mount For Remington 870 Shotguns And Simialr Clones (Misc.) Purchased this for use on a Rem. 870 12 gauge tactical shotgun that is in process of being customized. This mount fits like a charm. Very easy to install with all hardware included. This mount does offer a very snug fit, hence be careful when installing or you will end up scratching the receiver. I personally used a little dab of clear Teflon grease and very lightly coated the inside side walls of the mount before installation. This helped it to slide onto the receiver with no scratching. Once in place with the mounting screws installed it is rock solid with no wiggle room at all. A perfect fit with the Leapers red dot sight. The mounting rail itself is of see thru design so the front bead sight can be utilized if needed. Good design, snug fit, solid and light weight, can’t ask for much more than that. Did add just a bit of loctite to mounting screws for good measure and with over 75 rounds thru the gun the mount has shown no signs of loosening up at all. Very good mount for the money. He is such a nice calm man i would come to him? if i needed help with a gun.
Sometimes the? barrel is rifled, sometimes the slug itself is rifled. Regardless, they are actually quite accurate.
Is this with a rifled barrel? Surley? slugs are very inaccurate?
Oops, read that as “why would one..”? Mostly for deer/ large game hunting. When you throw slugs in the thing it’s gonna act a lot more like a rifle then a shotgun, so why not put the accessories of a rifle on it.
Well obviously…
For? what kind of hunting?
Accuracy?
When? would one need to mount a scope on a shotgun?
thanks but can i set a scope to a daisy model 25 pump? gun?
I have watched a few of your videos, and as a new user of firearms (at age 30), I? am glad to have a resource for diy. Thank you.
You mean like the weapon Billy carried in “Predator”… Yes diffently a cool set up but better check up on restrictions as to the shotguns overall length, not just its barrel.
I would saw off the butt stock and get a sight rail attachment for the shotgun and m16 and attach them.
Duct tape. While you’re at it, stick a handgun to the forearm of the shotgun. Preferably a .44 mag.
